In 2018, when the Q7 seemed to be an excellent top of the Audi range, the Ingolstadt-based brand decided to go even further. So the Q8 is born. We’re talking about an SUV coupe almost 5 meters long ready to face other extra luxury cars such as the BMW X6 and the Mercedes GLE Coupe. This vehicle is based on the same platform as the Lamborghini Urus. The Urus, in fact, is a Q8 with a 4-liter V8 engine sold at a much higher price. All configurations of this car enjoy Quattro Tiptronic technology. The basic model, which is a diesel called “45 TDI” and which we find in the technical specifications below, has a power of 170Kw (231 horsepower), then there is the 50 TDI, always diesel with the addition of MHEV technology. It reaches 210Kw (286HP). The most powerful configuration has a petrol engine, the 55 TFSI, which offers 250Kw (340HP). The technologies are of the latest generation: the interiors are dominated by two huge touch screens, and the driver can take advantage of the Audi virtual cockpit and the head-up display. The Audi e-Tron can be considered the electric version of the Q8.
